The Lookout apartment is set in magnificent gardens with superb views across to the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The gardens are there to explore and enjoy and provide relaxing nooks for reading, enjoying the view or just watching the varied bird life that abounds.

A fruit orchard and vegetable garden help supply the kitchen and the property is home to a colony of fantail pigeons, mandarin ducks and a family of chooks!

Many deciduous trees are mixed with native species and interspersed with shrubs and perennials. David Austin roses are used through the garden to add colour and provide screens and hedges.

Ponds and streams are a feature of the extensive garden which covers about 1 acre.

The lily pond and surrounds provide a relaxing oasis for reading or snoozing.
